Jack Ma reappears via a video link first time since October. Ma has been reported missing in action since October by the press worldwide. His disappearance from public life has been a big cause of concern for the world media.
The Alibaba group founder however is reported to have been maintaining a low profile since his Ant Financials IPO was stalled by the Beijing government in October 2020. Ant Financial was on its road to raise a whopping amount of $37 billion via a blockbuster IPO.
There were also enough big-ticket investors lining up for the said IPO. A day before it was set to hit the markets, It was stalled all of a sudden causing a major heartbreak for many of these investors around the world.
Jack Ma appeared for an annual rural teachers award ceremony event which is organized by the Jack Ma Foundation. It was first held in 2015 and has been a regular yearly event thereafter.
